The Designer – Wincilla Edwards
Wow, what a journey this has been.
I am an island girl, born and raised in the twin island state of Antigua and Barbuda. Nearly two decades ago, I migrated to New York and made a life changing decision to transition from a career as a Microsoft Systems Engineer into full time artistry, allowing me to support my family while building something deeply meaningful through my work.
Art has always been a part of who I am. As a young girl, I spent hours creating still life drawings from everyday objects in my grandmother’s home. That early passion evolved into a lifelong commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and expression.
In 2005, I was formally trained in a specialized painting technique that refined my ability to blend, shade, and highlight within a single stroke. From that moment, I fully embraced my artistic path, creating hand painted pieces that quickly became sought after for weddings, gifts, and special occasions.
Over time, my work expanded beyond bespoke glassware into live event artistry and personalization experiences. My love for fashion, beauty, and detail also led me into fashion illustration and luxury personalization work across a range of mediums.
Since 2010, I have had the privilege of working within luxury retail environments and brand activations, collaborating with distinguished brands and retailers including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Harper’s BAZAAR, Viktor and Rolf, and others.
Today, my work lives at the intersection of art and experience. Whether through bespoke glass artistry or live personalization at events, my goal remains the same, to create meaningful, beautiful moments that reflect the individuality of each client.

A Wincy Glass N Design LLC is a luxury creative studio founded in New York and now based in Hampton Roads, Virginia, serving clients nationwide and internationally.
Rooted in hand painted glass artistry, the company has evolved into a multifaceted studio offering bespoke glass design, live event personalization, and refined gifting experiences for private clients, weddings, and premium brands.
Services include in studio and on site engraving, calligraphy, hand painting, illustration, monogramming, embossing, and fragrance bottle personalization for corporate activations, retail experiences, conferences, and private events.
